Where is the farm located?

315 Forshey Road Marietta, Ohio 45750

We are in Reno, Ohio, about 4 miles from Interstate 77 - off the Marietta exit.

Our farm is private and our home, so the only part of the farm that is open to the public is our self-serve Flower Stand and U-Pick field on select days and times. Visit the links to those pages for current hours.

Are you open to the public so we can see the flower fields?

Only our U-pick field (July-October) and self-serve flower stand (March - December) are open to the public. Please visit those pages for current hours.

We do not allow customers into our greenhouses or to wander our production fields and barns for your safety and the health of the plants. We are a working farm and Wildroot is our private home. We love opening our property up for you to enjoy our hard work, but we ask that you respect our need for privacy as well.

Can we take our family photos on the farm?

Yes, however we only allow photo sessions on our farm during our Photography Nights. Those dates for the 2025 season are Thursday, July 17th, Thursday, August 7th, and Thursday, September 11th. Times for these dates will be announced on our social media pages and our email list.

We offer Open Photography Nights three times per summer for $20/couple/family.

Can we just do a photo session during your open U-pick days?

We love seeing our customers capture the beauty of our farm! Paying customers are welcome to take photos with their phones or cameras while enjoying their visit.

However, full-scale photoshoots with clients—including those with props, reflectors, or staged setups—are not permitted during regular farm hours. Asking other customers to move for a shot can take away from their experience, and we want everyone to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our farm.

If you’re interested in professional photoshoots, we invite you to attend one of our Open Photography Nights, where photographers can capture stunning images without disrupting the farm’s daily flow.

How do the Photography Nights work?

• Cost: $20 per session per couple/family.

• For photographers hosting mini-sessions: Each client (family, individual, or couple) is $20.

• No pre-booking required. Payment is accepted on-site via cash or credit card.

• Flower picking is not included. You may purchase a premade bouquet from our flower stand or pay an additional fee to pick your own.

• A photographer is not provided. The fee grants access to our U-pick field only.

• Barn access is not permitted. Photos must be taken in the designated U-pick area.

How can I buy your flowers?

We sell our flowers at our self-serve Flower Stand from March to October. You can also find our flowers at other partner retail locations, Scot’s Marketplace, St. Mary’s Galaxy, and The Cellar Door. We are also at the River City Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 9 am to noon at 200 Butler St by CVS in historic downtown Marietta.

How do I order flowers for private events and baby/bridal showers?

We would love to help you with flowers for your next event. Our bulk buckets are a great option for someone looking for fresh local blooms but wanting to do the arranging yourself. Our bulk buckets are available from mid-April to early October. Visit our Party Bucket page here.

Can we rent your barn for an event?

Not at this time. Our farm is our private residence. We appreciate you understanding our need to to balance our downtime and privacy.

Do you offer private or school tours?

We are not for the 2025 season.
